We all love to travel, but do we know how to travel smarter?
We’ve got zero waste travel down pat (reusable coffee mugs, to-go kits, and mason jars aplenty), but what about how you travel?
Since the beginning of 2019, awareness surrounding the carbon footprint of air travel has exploded, sparking the Fly Less movement. People are taking a hard look at how they travel and are considering alternative routes of transportation, not only for long distances, but for short distances. What are some ways you can make your commute more interesting and less impactful on the environment? Maybe it’s not feasible to bike to work, but can you drop to a single-car household or carpool with some colleagues?
We’ll be at The Wedge Table from 6-8 PM on Thursday, November 21 to chat about how we can reduce the amount of trash we produce when we travel, but also how to change how we travel. Join us!
